It’s A Crime…..
They say that most criminals are pretty dumb… They have to be, otherwise they wouldn’t get caught…
And, in the last few days, we’ve run across a few examples of law breakers SO stupid— they deserve everything they get when the cops catch up to ‘em…..
GRASS BACKWARDS…
Usually you call the cops when something is stolen from you—something that you’re SUPPOSED to own…
A 35-year-old man in the central Australian city of Adelaide called police to say his house was broken into—and a bunch of stuff was taken…
And just WHAT did he report stolen to the police?
Why, it was some of the marijuana plants he was growing.
Sure enough, the cops came—found there WAS a burglary—and that some, but NOT all of his pot was taken by intruders.
The fellow was arrested.
Apparently in his case, honesty was not the best policy…
THAT’S HOW THE COOKIE CRUMBLES…
Most speeders get caught because of a heavy foot…
A speeder in Salisbury, Connecticut was bagged because of an Oreo cookie.
28-year-old Justin Vonkummer of Millerton, N.Y told cops he wasn’t speeding—he was dunking the cookie in a glass of milk while driving, and let the Oreo slip from his fingers. While he was trying to retrieve it—he sorta lost control of his fast moving BMW…
The cops thought it was a crumby excuse and put the bite on him with a ticket.
HE NEEDED THE DOUGH…
Everybody’s got as cop in a doughnut shop story—and most of ‘em are about as stale as eight day old bread…
But this one is fresh.
When the owner of an unmarked delivery van in Moline, Illinois reported it stolen, the local cops set out to find it.
And they did their job well—not only spotting the van—but chasing it down and capturing the thief.
What the cops DIDN’T know at the time of the chase was that it was a van belonging to the Donut Delight company.
The store manager was so pleased—she offered the ENTIRE CONTENTS of the van to the cops as a reward.
For some reason they didn’t see the humor in it—and said no thanks.
