There’s a lot of guys out there who will never become governor of New York state—because they aren’t willing to have the extramarital affairs apparently necessary to qualify them for the position…
The celebration of David Paterson’s ascension to the top spot in New York State was literally still occurring when he and his wife were giving interviews confessing they had affairs while undergoing a “rough period” in their marriage.
The “breath of fresh air” following Spitzer’s scandal was about to become another polluted cloud over Albany.
In David Paterson’s case—just like his former chief executive—he had multiple trysts with various women.
And—it’s not just the affairs—but all the seamy details that the media is so willing to publicize that really adds a rancid stink to all of this.
First, there was one of Eliot Spitzer’s call girls becoming the flavor of the day as she exploited her connection with the fallen governor.
Now -–as you can read here—one of Paterson’s several mistresses is coming forward… And she’s proudly touting that “she has tapes!”
Stand-by folks! The feeding frenzy has just begun…
More mistresses—more sordid details—and more cashing-in on new found fame is just ahead…
Paterson and Spitzer are just the latest in a long line of politicos who have disappointed those who thought they were there to serve the public that elected them.
Is it any wonder that people distrust politicians?
For years—I love New York has been the state’s official slogan.
