Gnome On The Rage…
A while back, we had some fun with a colleague’s penchant for taking pictures of his garden gnome in various odd locations—and posting them in a picture blog.
You can read that post here.
We also linked to his blog—because it was a fun little thing.
But in the tiny, Argentinian town of General Guemes, folks are in a rage over a gnome who apparently is ranging about the area.
The British paper, The Sun first broke the story about the Gnome that is terrorizing townsfolk.
Captured on a 49 second cellphone video by some teens, there’s a scant 19 seconds of the “creature” walking out of the tall grass near the kids.
Make of it what you will—but, I’m suspicious of my colleague.
He does have this gnome named Gilbert.
Now, look what happens when you add Gilbert’s picture to that of the shadowy gnome in South America…
Is it the same Gnome?
You be the judge.
One more piece of evidence.
My colleague was off last Friday and Saturday.
Just enough time to fly down to Argentina, take a pack mule to an isolated town, and toss his gnome out on to the sidewalk to scare a bunch of impressionable teens, and skitter back to Raleigh with no one the wiser.
There’s also another creature in Latin and South America that terrorizes rural farmers by killing their small animals and livestock by sucking out all their blood.
It’s known as the Chupacabra–or “goatsucker.”
I’ve got ANOTHER co-worker in mind for being the mastermind behind THAT—-but that’s a blog for a different day!
