There’s a few things on my mind—and at my age— a few things is about all my mind can hold… So, it’s time to let them out to run free…
OBAM! KICKING IT UP A NOTCH…
Seems the gloves are off when it comes to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama … The animosity between them has been getting progressively bitter in the last few days as was evident in last night’s debate…
This story linked here is just one of several that have been published about the strident tone of the campaign rhetoric. Now, Obama says the Clinton’s, both Hillary and Bill, are out and out lying about him—and that it’s being done on purpose.
No hedging here.
He’s not saying they are mis-interpreting. He’s not saying they are exaggerating.. He’s saying they are engaging in calculated lying.
For the democrats—this campaign has come down to Obama and Hillary… John Edwards just doesn’t seem to be a factor…
After Edwards lost Iowa—the conventional wisdom was he had to make it a race between Obama and himself to stay viable. He didn’t—and now, his campaign is in the position of being the “Where’s Waldo” of politics..
GNOME ON THE RANGE…
Waldo and Edwards aren’t the only ones in hiding.. A couple of posts back, we wrote about one of my colleagues playful pastimes—a photo blog showing the travels of his Gnome… I also linked his blog to mine in the sidebar…

Although not as dramatic as Al Gore’s movie—or the scare headlines on both sides of the issue—it makes a compelling argument that we’re as likely to stop the climate change as I am of winning the presidency in 2008 !
