SMARTER THAN A PRE-SCHOOLER…
A few posts back—we took Kelly Pickler to task for not knowing the answer to a 3rd grade geography question after she gave a series of ridiculous answers when she appeared on the TV game show, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader.
Well—it’s payback time for us here at this little blog….
A friend of mine sent me this little test given to pre-schoolers—a test that 90% of them passed with no problem…
Now—they may have figured it it out—but it was beyond the genius brain who writes this blog.
Let’s see how you do…
Take a look at this bus. Is it traveling the the LEFT or the RIGHT?
What’s your answer?
If you said the bus is traveling to the right, you’d be incorrect.
The bus is traveling to the left.
The reason:
If you can’t see the door the bus is moving left. The door would only be visible if the bus were moving to the right.
Most pre-schoolers apparently knew that !
BARACK TO THE FUTURE?
The results of the Iowa Caucus are in. Huckabee ran away with it on the Republican side pulling about 34% of the vote… And Barack Obama scored a decisive victory over his rivals capturing about 38% of the Democratic votes.
Now—lets look at his victory in the context of Iowa’s demographics.
Iowa is 93% White.
The minority population breaks down along these lines:
- 3.8% Latino
- 2.3% African American
- 1.5% Asian
All those various groups only make up 7.6% of Iowa’s population.
So WHERE is Obama getting his support? You do the math.
Is Iowa a fluke?
We’ll have to see what happens next in New Hampshire.
