Now You See It, Now You Don’t…
A few posts back, we ran an item that contained this optical illusion—
—which had GOOD and EVIL embedded in the same word.
We then asked folks which one (or both) they could detect at first glance.
Since that time we’ve been inundated with billions of requests clamoring for more.
(Well, actually, it was only ONE of my NBC-17 colleagues who said, “you ought to do more of those things with the words.”)
So, in the interest of helping you to keep your brain exercised—here’s a few more of “those things.”
I CAN SEE THAT…
What word do you see here?
Most folks can see the word “OPTICAL” in the yellow… But the word, “ILLUSION” is also there in blue….
EVEN A CHILD CAN READ IT…
Read the sentence in the triangle. What does it say?
I’m guessing you read it as, A BIRD IN THE BUSH.
But look again.
The word “THE” is actually repeated twice. The brain tends to skip over things like that when it processes what isn’t normal.
This explains why for some, it’s better to let your computer’s spell checker do the proof-reading.
TRAIN YOURSELF TO BE A BETTER OBSERVER….
Take a look at this photo. There is a train in it.
Well, strictly speaking—the train isn’t in the picture yet… but if you click on this clip below you’ll see how this active railroad line suddenly becomes a market in Bangkok, Thailand.
Do I hear any more clamoring????
